& FIRST LADY LOTTIE JACKSON

Andrew and Lottie Jackson followed the leading of the Lord and started a work in 1969 in South Memphis. Along with their six children and two other adults, Faith Temple Ministries was founded. At first, it seemed that all Pastor Jackson could attract to the church were children from the neighborhood, but eventually those children*s parents began to come to the church and the ministry began to grow.

Pastor Jackson has now pastored Faith Temple for more than 40 years and the church has grown and prospered. Now at our third location, Pastor Jackson continues to preach the unadulterated Word of God and souls are continuously being added to the kingdom. His four youngest children work in the ministry with him: Ivory is the 2nd Assistant Pastor, Derrick is the church chief musician, Barbara is the 1st Assistant Pastor & Minister of Music and Sharon is the church secretary & Praise & Worship Leader. The two oldest work in ministry, also: Patricia is the Pastor*s wife at Rising Sun Baptist Church in Memphis, TN and Andrew, Jr. is pastor of West Irving COGIC in Irving, TX. The Lord has blessed Pastor and Sis. Jackson with over 55 years of marriage, six beautiful children and over 20 grandchildren & great-grandchildren.

Pastor Jackson serves as the Vice President of the Tennessee West Fellowship, COGIC. He has served as the Chairman for the Memphis chapter of the Pentecostal/Charismatic Churches of North America (PCCNA) and he serves on the Executive Board for Teen Challenge of Memphis. He has also done volunteer work for the Shelby County Sheriff Department Senior Citizen Crime Watch.

Lottie Jackson is a renowned soloist and an anointed preacher of the gospel. She is known as the *Songbird of the South.* She along with her children recorded an album which features one of her most requested songs, *Shine On Me.* She has sung for such dignitaries as Tennessee Governor Don Sundquist, Former Secretary of HUD Jack Kemp, Colonel Oliver North, and Reverend Jesse Jackson. She, along with her family, has also opened up for singers such as Shirley Caesar, James Moore, Darryl Coley, and The Hawkins Family.

The Lord has truly blessed Faith Temple Ministries with two wonderful leaders, and we thank God for them and the anointing that is upon their lives.
